Join our Team as a HR Employee Relations Advisor to cover a period of maternity leave.

We provide 24/7 urgent primary care services for patients across Powys, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and Lancashire, including out of hours service GP, care coordination, single point of access in Shropshire, and an oncology advice line.  We care about our team of over 200 colleagues. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated HR Employee Relations Advisor to join our HR team.

Role Overview:  As a HR Employee Relations Advisor, you will be an integral part of our HR team, focusing on managing employee relations and ensuring a positive work environment. This temporary role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to key HR functions, support our staff, and uphold our commitment to excellent employee relations.

You will build and maintain collaborative and productive working relationships with Managers, Employees and HR colleagues, offering professional and practical advice and guidance regarding operational HR matters.

The Person:  You will have good all-round experience of the employee life cycle, you will have had exposure with providing support and advice on employee relations matters, advising on policy and procedures, performance management, training and development. 

Ideally you should have:

  • a CIPD Qualification to level 5 or above. 
  • proven experience in providing professional, pro-active HR advice and guidance.
  • strong communication and influencing skills with experience of coaching, guiding and supporting managers.
  • good prioritisation skills and able to meet deadlines.
  • strong IT skills, with experience of developing systems.
